結局、iPhone 13を購入したという話。
2018年9月に発売したiPhone XSのバッテリー持ちが悪くなってきた。

購入してから3.5年間ほど酷使し続けた結果、バッテリーが83%に劣化。

新しいのが欲しい。
iPhone 14が今年の9月または10月に販売されるとか、されないとか。いつかは公式に発表されてはいない。このようにiPhone 14の噂が熱を帯び始め、さらに先の改良が期待されている。どうせなら新機種を購入したいのだが、iPhone 14を待つべきか、待たないべきか。。。

でもこのバッテリーが悪い状態で9月まで待つのも、人生を無駄にしてる気がする。iPhone 13は昨年9月に発売されてまだ新しいタイプである。前モデルのiPhone 12から大幅にアップデートされている(特にバッテリー持ち)。iPhone 14は現時点で情報が少なすぎて判断できない。
But I feel like I'm wasting my life waiting until September with this bad battery. The iPhone 13 was released on 24 September 2021. It offers some excellent upgrades from the previous iPhone 12 model, including a larger battery and a faster chipset. I have very little information about the upcoming iPhone 14 at the cure time.
調べてみると、iPhone 12と13も容量が大きいサイズでは、両者で値段があまり変わらない。

ということで、iPhone 13を購入することに決定した。
楽天モバイルを使用していたこともあり、楽天市場の「楽天モバイル公式楽天市場店」からiPhone 13を購入してみた。

楽天モバイルだと価格は税込で108,180円。さらに楽天ポイントキャンペーンなどを利用して、本体価格から9000円くらい安くなった。
ちなみに、他社から乗り換えだと20,000円〜から割引されるみたい。
