そういう人は、すぐカッとなる上司/同僚、噂話や陰口を広める人、または何かと言い訳をつけて頼んだことをやってくれない人かもしれません。
このような人たちを対処する上で最も重要なことはやはり、冷静さを保ち、反応しないことです。
私たちは人を変えることはできませんが、自分の考え方や感じ方は変えることができます。
こちらが会話を普段通りフォーマルに続けるだけで、相手は自分たちがさもバカであるかのように感じ始めるでしょう。でなければ彼らはもう救いようがありません。
こんな人たちに関わること自体にゲンナリするでしょうが、私はこの経験から何を学び、何を取り除くことができるか？と自問することで、あなたがこういった経験から少なくとも一つの前向きな見通しを得るのを助けてくれます。
How do we deal with/handle difficult people in the workplace?

The most important thing is to keep your cool and not to react.
You can't change people, but you can change the way you think and how you feel.
Just keep the conversation formally and they will start to look and feel like they are really the idiots.

職場にいる狙撃手 Sniper は名前の通り、あなたを遠くから狙って狙撃してくる人です。
あなたの評判を悪くしたり、秘密裏の批判、ゴシップ、噂話であなたを陥れようとする人のことを言います。
彼らに遭遇しても、笑ったり、怒ったりしないでください。
ただ「見ること」。
Sniper に何か理不尽なことを言われたときは、あなたの言ったことは聞いたことを伝えるために約3秒間続くアイコンタクトを確実に行い、応答しないこと。
それでも何か言ってくるときは、何を意図しているのか、何か仕事や案件と関係あるのか聞きましょう。決して、声を荒げてはだめです。穏やかに事実を把握するために聞くのです。

Snipers take shots at you to make you look bad or to try to undermine you with covert criticisms, gossip and rumors.
Don’t smile, don’t laugh, don’t look angry. Just look.
Make sure that you make eye contact that lasts about three seconds too long, that tells the sniper that you heard the comment, and you choose not to respond do it.

Gossip is to talk about someone or something with another person or a group behind their back. Rumor is to spread information about someone or something that you don't know if it's true or not.
